About Dr. Mark Harasimiuk
After practicing as a Prosthetist/Orthotist for more than 20 years making orthopaedic braces and prosthetic limbs, Mark returned to study Chiropractic at RMIT in Melbourne. Mark realised that there were more solutions to movement problems than just providing a device to assist. The missing link is improving joint mobility and proprioception therefore changing the neurology, which is what chiropractic can do. Mark is excited to provide this new level of care for all those that are coming to see him.
Mark is currently the chiropractor for the Gippsland Power Football Club, and in that role is gaining greater understanding of the needs of elite athletes. A healthy spine and nervous system is key to help athletes strive to excel.
Mark uses a system of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) along with manual adjusting to help athletes improve coordination, reflexes and agility. This allows Mark as a chiropractor to meet you where you are at and improve to be Remarkable in Movement.
