Headaches and Migraines

Are you suffering from headaches or migraines?

Here at mBrace Chiropractic we understand how debilitating this can be, which is why we are dedicated to helping you recover naturally.

Do you experience any of the following?

  • Dull aching pain in your head
  • Tenderness in your neck, shoulders, and scalp
  • Tightness or pressure on your forehead or the side of your head
  • Throbbing sensation in your head
  • Visual disturbances
  • Sensitivity to light and noises

Because there are so many different types of headaches and migraines, it’s critical for your chiropractor to provide an accurate diagnosis.

Tension headaches are very common in people who spend a lot of time sitting, especially those who work in front of computers.  The discomfort usually begins in the neck or at the base of the skull and spreads to the front of the head. This form of headache can be debilitating.

Migraine symptoms, on the other hand, are frequently more severe. Many migraine sufferers will have a strong headache, as well as vision problems, light and sound sensitivity, and nausea in some cases. Many people who get migraine headaches on a regular basis say they can feel the pain coming on.

Many headaches can be caused by dysfunction in the cervical spine because of the intimate link between the nerves of the cervical spine and the nerves of the head.

We adopt a holistic approach to addressing spine disorders at mBrace Chiropractic. Rather than focusing on the injury site alone, we look at the complete neuromusculoskeletal system. The spine as a whole, extremity joints (hip, knee, etc. ), muscles, ligaments, tendons, and the neurological system are all included.

The first step in assisting you in managing and preventing your problem is to confirm that we have a correct understanding of what is happening. We do so by taking a detailed history, performing a thorough physical examination that includes neurological, orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal exams, and maybe ordering further diagnostic tests such as X-Rays (if required).

Our team will explain our results to you in a simple and concise manner after we have all of the information needed to make an accurate diagnosis. We will then build a treatment plan customised to your issue and goals based on the information we collect. Our team is committed to assisting you in a holistic manner in managing and preventing headaches and migraines.

If at any stage we determine that you need to be referred out to another provider we will be sure to find the right people for you.
